 | Determine that an AABB accredited lab will be running
your test. When your results are received, verify
that the lab is on the AABB list. |
 | Make sure that the company is listed with a credible trade organization. Companies that
make testing mistakes and have poor customer service are
usually not listed because they cannot maintain the
membership requirements due to the large number of
unanswered customer complaints. |
 | If the lab that ran your test is not accredited by the
AABB then you should seriously consider performing
additional testing to confirm the validity of your
results. There are no laws dictating that a
lab cannot operate from a person's garage or basement by
inexperienced personnel. You should be confident
that the results are accurate. Do not trust
the information that non accredited labs place on their
website. Most of their information is fabricated
from competitor websites. |
 | Be wary of any company that dedicates their homepage and
website to negative advertising. Some
companies even have names similar to real AABB accredited
labs. Labs operating from a foreign country may also
set up a forwarding company in the United States. |
